Chuuk Lagoon Wrecks in 360/VR

Calling all real and virtual wreck divers! We've assembled a playlist of fresh wreck-diving videos from Chuuk (Truk) Lagoon, Micronesia.

Experience these famous Japanese WW2 wrecks in 360 degrees. Shot with the Insta360 One RS 1-inch edition in our Mantis RS360 housing.

Please note: macOS Safari and mobile Firefox do not support 360 video playback. Please use the YouTube App or Chrome browser on mobile, and Chrome or Firefox browsers on Desktop/macOS.

Tutorial: How to quickly re-frame a 360 video with Insta360 Studio

The outstanding feature of the Insta360 One RS 1-inch 360 camera and Mantis RS360 housing is how easy and fast it is to create stunning VR experiences.

Single button operation to capture! And thanks to Insta360's free Studio software the post processing is almost as easy.

But just as many RS360 customers prefer 'regular' flat video over 360. Their reason to shoot with a 360 camera is convenience: recording everything that was happening around the camera at the time, regardless of where the camera was pointed (or mounted). Then decide later what to show in the video during the (very quick) editing process.

Because the 360 video is fully stabilized, the result is a super smooth video that includes all the highlights. You get to enjoy your dive and never miss a shot, even if the action happened behind you.

Our latest tutorial article/video shows how to quickly create a re-framed flat video from your 360 spherical recordings.

Mantis RS360 and Mantis Sub back in stock!

Good news everyone, our popular 360 underwater camera housings are all back in stock!

We've been blown away especially by the interest in our smaller housing for the Insta360 One RS 1-inch 360 Edition. The dual 1-inch sensors provide stunning low-light qualities and dynamic range at a great price point.

It’s so small and easy to use that it does not get in the way even during demanding dives.

“[I] preferred [the Insta360 One RS 1-inch] over lugging a mirrorless camera in a housing which I left on the boat … the visibility on this trip dropped down to only 5m-10m by day 4, [but the] camera does work well in low light. Tended to just press record on reaching the bottom and let it run for the 40-60 min of bottom time”

It is not linked on the Pro/Pro2 download page, but you can download the installer from the Mantis Sub support page instead:
