360 video from our trip to Fiji

When we started work on the Mantis Sub housing we often talked about capturing some of the amazing tropical marine life in Fiji, a short haul from temperate New Zealand. Then Covid happened, and now two years later we finally had the chance to do just that. And the results are stunning! Watch a school of Yellowtail Fusiliers completely surround the camera in beautiful blue water. Fiber Optic Spool and Junction Box

Do you need a high-speed, long-distance, low-drag tether option for your ROV, drop-cam, or sensor package?
With the new Mantis Sub Fiber Optic Spool and Junction Box you can connect up to 4x underwater devices to the surface with one 3.5mm (0.137”) thin low-drag high-strength tether. Rated to 500m (1600ft), this solution provides Gigabit Ethernet and can operate continuously for over two days on one charge. Learn more ...

Price increase

We held off as long as we could, but our production costs have increased significantly over the last two years and we now have to pass some of that on. As a result the price for Mantis Sub housing will increase from 1 August 2022 by 15%. We will honor all quotes sent out at the old price, as well as purchase orders received before 1 August 2022.
