Mantis Sub goes DEMA and OzTek
Thanks to international borders re-opening we had the pleasure of showing our Mantis Sub housing to many new divers at Dive shows in Melbourne, Australia and Florida, USA recently.
The response was amazing, with many divers experiencing the underwater world in 8K-3D VR for the first time. See more here …
Cave-diving in Mount Gambier
We took our Mantis-Sub cave diving in Mt Gambier, South Australia. Between training dives, Andrew managed to get his Mantis-Sub into a couple of caves, including the amazing “Shaft” cave that required a short abseil into the water from a Cow paddock through a small hole!

Highway bored pile (caisson) inspection
We recently conducted a bored pile (caisson) inspection for a construction company. The 20m deep pile with a diameter of 1.2m (4 feet) was full of water and they needed to inspect the steel walls for imperfections before work could continue. With much floating particulate in the water it was certainly a challenging job, but the ability to focus close to the camera meant a full inspection was possible and work could continue without further delay.
